Independent of industrial production process all HOFFMANN Horn spectacles are manufactured by hand in the Vulcan Eifel in Germany.

HOFFMANN horn spectacles are fashionable natural products manufactured only by very skilled craftsmen with a passion in their hand-crafted work. The quality in each frame reflects many years of experience.

HOFFMANN horn was the first in developing and producing a “Triplex Safety System” in the manufacturing for natural horn spectacles. It is considered to be the best in quality, stability and resistance to deformation.

Each HOFFMANN natural horn spectacle consists of up to seven thin layers of horn depending upon the model. Each core plates of horn fibers run in opposite directions known as the ”Triplex Safety System”.

The desired color combination is interconnected and insepar-able. There is only one part of the whole horn itself that can be used in producing a spectacle frame.

HOFFMANN has the highest quality requirements placed against all the material chosen in the production in the aesthetics and the structure of each spectacle produced.

Natural horn eyeglasses are manufactured at high expenditure relating to crafts however without any pollutants to our environment. The only waste in the production are horn splinters, which serve as natural plant food.
